Health promotion and free health checks
At Hans Mgaya Hospital we are proud to provide and support free healthcare events as part of our commitment to halthy and suatainable community. Community service events include free health education and diagnostics preventing deseases of public health importance.
The community events are free to the public and include but not limited to voluntary counselling and screening for HIV and Hepatitis B infection, early cancer screening (including cervix, breast, colon and prostate), detection and prevention of non-communicable disease and related complications (including diabetes, hypertension and obesity), maternal and child care and others.

Inter-sectoral collaboration in improving access to health care
Hans Mgaya Hospital joins other governmental and non-governmental sectors to increase access to health care to underserved communities and high risk special groups including contributing to low cost road maintenance, imparting First Aid skills and preventing severe injuries to high risk groups of occupational injuries.
